Scanned from the January 1953 issue of Signs of the Times magazine, page 46

What is believed to be the largest night club electrical spectacular display on leased property in the United States was recently illuminated with considerable fanfare by Foster and Kleiser Company in San Francisco. Mechanism for the animating display is contained in special flasher-circuit housing designed by flasher engineers at Electrical Products Corporation, Los Angeles, who provided the neon embellishments for the bulletin.

The display was placed in service with all the fanfare that usually attends a Hollywood premiere.
